Ola Ya-all,

I got the Metro bug about a year and a half ago, will probably never recover as the only treatment is to accept it.

About a year ago I purchased a 1995 2DHB 3 cylinder stick, and immediately took a 2 week 3000 mile jaunt.

The car has gotten as high as 48 MPG, it was on the above trip.

In the winter(no a/c use) I get 41/42 MPG 50/50 city/highway.

In the summer (a/c use) I get 36/38 MPG again 50/50 city/highway.

I now wish to do the XFI camshaft mod. And after looking for 6 months found two cams as cores.

So am doing research on cam re-grinders for price and availability, hope to send one out this week.

I may be needing help with the XFI cam project.

If this goes as well as I expect, will be looking for a late model 4 cylinder manual transmission

I am 65 live on disability income.

Thank You For Your Time And Patience,

Wayne Rich
