I have found that Florida has no inspections and no emissions, none at all.
South Carolina does not have inspections either.
Maryland has them only upon the sale of a vehicle.
PA has them every year along with emissions testing in many counties where population exceeds a certain amount.
Ohio has no annual inspections, however they do have emissons in the larger urban areas.
New York has inspections.
A young mechanic also suggested that Arkansas does not have inspections either...
Does mandatory inspection help keep more cars on the road by making sure that they are maintenanced regularly, or does it take more cars off the road by declaring them unfit to drive? Is this just a scam to create state revenue, and to assure steady business for shops and parts manufacturers?

Let's shoot for all 40!!
I mean 50, no, 51.
Nha, lets just go for 49, since it is physically impossible to drive to most of Alaska. Though I do hear its difficult to MapQuest a trip to Hawaii, aw, lets just go for 50.
