metro ecm problem ???

Help,
I have a 1994 metro that will not run.....I get 3 injector pulses at start and the engine will try and start but then the run pulses to the injector quit.
I can actually keep the engine running with a trigger sprayer of gas....spraying it into the throttle body......any thoughts.....Tom
P.S. Ihave replaced the ecm with a rebuilt unit and it too will not send the run pulses to the fuel injector.....
