I have sent this link to Hacksaw, and he says it works, so feel free to view the passenger side lower control arm mount restoration. I talked about this before, but people had a hard time getting to it. It was a complete restoration, where the mount broke from the backside, and the tire folded flat towards the outside.
http://groups.msn.com:80/boxes-r-us In the bottom left hand corner of the page, it says "94 Metro". Let me know if it's still working. I doubt you're going to see one much worse than this one. We fixed the outside first, then hinged the lower control arm mounting foot back up where it came from on the inside, with a bottle jack. The floor was ripped away too from where water had gotten in the mount, and ran back the stiffening channel. The only part that is not documented, is the fact, that I had to weld on a new foot to mount the contol arm too. When we took the lower control arm mounting bolts out, the old weld nuts were destroyed. I burned them out of the old foot, leaving holes big enough that new nuts welded to a 3/16" plate could be inserted up in those holes. The new 3/16" strip was welded to the new exoskeleton. The extra metal thickness did not cause any problems with getting it aligned afterwards. I've told people that this car could get hit by a bomb, and everything would be destroyed, except for that lower control arm mount! Let me know if the link works.
I currently own a White 94 Automatic 2 door, and a White 94 XFi.
